GBU The Directorate of Sports and Spectacular Events of the Department of Sports of the city of Moscow is responsible for conducting professional international and all-Russian sports competitions. Since 2002, the Directorate has held more than 40 world and European championships in various sports: ice hockey, track and field athletics, figure skating, speed skating, modern pentathlon, cycling, rhythmic gymnastics and many others.
